CONDITIONS OF SALE
Your purchase of the goods specified in this document is subject to these terms and conditions.
James Lane reserve the right to correct any errors or misprints relating to Products displayed on the Site (included after such Products have been ordered).
James Lane reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, reject or cancel orders in our sole discretion.
Stock availability and delivery lead times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.
Furniture using timber is inherently subject to variability as each piece is unique in terms of grain, pattern, knots etc. When staining furniture, variations may occur. Other natural materials and fabrics are also subject to inherent variability in finish. Display stock is presented as a guide only.
All personal information obtained during the ordering process will be kept on file and only used for order-management, customer service and marketing purposes.
It is your responsibility:
To ensure the goods purchased will fit into the nominated property; this includes but is not limited to property access, stairs, doorways etc.
To be present at the agreed time of delivery, and allow access to the driver.
On delivery, to check condition of packaging, correct number of packages, and examine the goods before signing the delivery docket.
Delivery will take place at the address specified by you when placing your order. Delivery date and time will be confirmed via phone and email 24 hours after order has been finalised and an automated text message will be sent one hour before the allocated time to double -check that you, or somebody nominated by you, will be available to accept delivery.
If the delivery driver is unable to obtain access at the agreed time on the agreed day, you will be charged by the contract carrier for any subsequent delivery.
Any damage at time of delivery must be reported to James Lane Customer Service within 3 days of delivery.
In the event of any unforeseen circumstances on delivery date and time (including but not limited to vehicle breakdown, traffic accident or severe weather) customer service will contact you immediately to make alternative arrangements.
To ensure the order has been paid in full prior to delivery being arranged, deliveries will not be arranged for unpaid orders.
Payments can be made direct to the store of purchase 2-3 days prior to delivery.
Cancellation of a sale is at the discretion of James Lane. All requests for cancellation by you must be in writing and submitted no less than 14 days before expected delivery date with original invoice and payment receipts.
Should James Lane accept a cancellation request, a cancellation fee of up to 20% of the total sale amount will be imposed and deducted from amounts paid before any refund is processed.
There is no cancellation charge if James Lane is unable to supply the goods.
Cancellation will not be accepted if you have simply changed your mind about the purchase.
All product warranties (1 year unless otherwise specified) are valid from date of purchase).
Extended warranties are available for an additional charge.
